Director, Commercial Legal – Enterprise Sales

Responsibilities
Negotiate enterprise cloud agreements for Atlassian’s products and services. In doing so, you’ll partner with Sales and other Atlassians to drive customer deals to execution
Provide pragmatic, business-minded guidance on customer requests and contract-related issues. We’re not looking for academic analysis!
Develop support materials and provide trainings to educate our Sales teams on contract terms and other legal issues
Assist with special projects as needed, including projects focused on scaling legal processes
Lead special projects to scale the Legal and Sales functions, and bring a legal lens to other critical cross-functional projects across the quote-to-cash process
Drive strategic customer deals to execution by partnering with Sales and other Atlassians (including in our Privacy, Trust, Finance and Product teams)
Provide pragmatic, business-minded guidance on customer and contract-related issues. We’re not looking for academic analysis!
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience negotiating outbound SaaS contracts is a must
Ability to handle data protection, cybersecurity and revenue recognition issues in connection with commercial contracts
Passion for understanding our customers, products, culture, and business model
Excellent business judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly with a variety of teams
Strong presentation skills, especially with internal business leaders
Willingness to handle new areas of responsibility
Qualified to practice law in your local jurisdiction
