Senior Administrative Associate

Responsibilities
Administrative Operations: Oversee calendars, email communications, scheduling tools (Bookings), and student record entry in the Clockwork database
Student & Stakeholder Services: Provide information on disability services, triage calls and walk-ins, review and maintain confidential records, and schedule appointments with discretion
Program & Office Support: Assist with office functions, special projects, outreach events, staff retreats, and supply management
Website & Accommodation Processes: Maintain the D&A website and support accommodation processes including letters, housing, exams, extended education, and course load reduction/medical withdrawal requests
Supervision & Training: Direct and train student associates and office assistants on front desk procedures and data entry; oversee their general office support work. Support operations of the physical DCC space, including monitoring open hours
Collaboration & Committees: Serve on internal teams and division committees; coordinate with directors and campus departments on record retention policies
Financial Coordination: Work with business staff to provide information on purchases and expenditures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, education, rehabilitation services, technology domain or related field and at least three years' experience in assistive technology and working with students with disabilities at the postsecondary level
The candidate must be familiar with the needs of students with disabilities, assistive technology, software, and programs for individuals with various disabilities
Excellent supervisory and interpersonal, communication skills
The ability to work with varied constituencies
Professional demeanor
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Independent decision-making and initiative
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity
Experience supervising and training student staff
Preferred
Master's degree in education, rehabilitation counseling, technology domain, or a related field and at least three years experience in assistive technology and working with students with disabilities at the postsecondary level
Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, such as sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, ADA, and copyright law are essential
Familiarity with WCAG, accessible document creation and universal design for instruction
