Responsibilities

You will promote and sell the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range or key account to achieve sales and revenue target
One of your tasks will be to assess and analyze customer needs, respond to customer enquiries and suggest products and services as appropriate
You will work closely with cross functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account
On an as needed basis, you will coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory
Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business
Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnership
In this role, you will manage and grow an existing sales base within the assigned account and develop new contacts and applications
Demonstrate a natural affinity to influence and sell to all levels of an organization
Ability to persuade, through logic and bottom-line reasoning
You will design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in given region
One of your duties will be to support the Sales Manager/Director to achieve annual sales target and fulfill corporate objectives within assigned accounts

Required

You have completed a Bachelor's degree preferably in a science discipline or equivalent relevant practical experience that demonstrate a strong ability and proven competency to work effectively as an Account Manager within the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry
You possess a minimum of 3+ years' relevant industry experience, preferably within a GMP or GLP environment
Sales experience and/or customer facing experience in biotechnology industry
Willingness and ability to travel frequently with the assigned territory
You are proficient with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to interact within all levels of target organizations
Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, and hard working
Good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functionally
Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop sales strategy
Financial Acumen and ability to understand complex sales processes
Possesses outstanding partnering skills and capable of developing and leveraging strong relationships to achieve better and faster results

Preferred

Post graduate qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific discipline is desired but not essential
Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
