Employee Relations Leader

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility is to own and drive our Positive Employee Relations strategy, setting the bar high and measuring success through key performance indicators
Offer expert guidance and consultation on a wide range of Employee Relations matters; from performance concerns, conflict resolution, workplace investigations, involuntary terminations to resolving employee concerns while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
Lead Employee Relations and Investigations Partners to achieve prescribed operational objectives within established timelines and in accordance with quality and customer satisfaction
Serve as a subject matter expert providing guidance and monitoring compliance with applicable systems, policies, procedures, process work flows; and monitors compliance
Responsible for overseeing administration of Performance Management, managing complaints handling complex investigations, creating ER Reports, managing audits and creating positive employer-employee relationships
Provide detailed case management documentation, summaries and timelines written with precision and clear next steps and recommended remediation
Advise on corrective and preventative measures based on root cause analysis from investigations, pragmatic business enhancements and mitigation strategies, including identification of training needs
Build constructive relationships with critical stakeholders to share information and influence change
Partnership to build a positive work culture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree: Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Seasoned Professional: With over 10 years of progressive Employee Relations, preferably Labor Relations experience, with expertise within manufacturing environments being strongly preferred
Employment Law: Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and ordinances governing employment practices
Program Management: Proven success implementing employee relations programs and initiatives, along with change management and facilitation experience is required
Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to navigate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
Calm Under Pressure: Exceptional investigation skills and the ability to maintain composure during challenging employee situations
Influential Communicator: Strong communication skills that enable you to influence and build credibility at all organizational levels
Analytical Skills: Exhibit sound decision-making skills, think critically, and make choices in a fast-paced environment
Continuous Improvement: Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement, always seeking ways to drive value, innovation, and efficiency
Demonstrates a consistently positive and professional disposition
Ability to de-escalate conflict with tact, empathy and objectivity
High degree of emotional intelligence and self-awareness
Maintains composure and objectivity during sensitive or stressful conversations
Preferred
A Master's degree or MBA is preferred
Expertise within manufacturing environments being strongly preferred
