Responsibilities

Performing field and laboratory testing on construction materials like concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregates

Collecting and preparing samples for analysis

Interpreting test results and preparing detailed reports

Working closely with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure all work meets specifications and safety guidelines

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required

0-2 years relevant experience for Associate Technician/Technician I

2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent with an Associate's degree for Technician II

3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent with an Associate's degree for Technician III

5+ years of relevant experience for Technician IV

Industry certifications such as American Concrete Institute (ACI): Field Testing Grade I; Strength Testing Technician; Laboratory Technician, and/or International Code Council (ICC): Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Soils)

Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

Basic math proficiency, including understanding of measurements and units of weight

Understanding of a fluctuating schedule and interest in occasional travel
