Responsibilities
Designing complete sets of site development plans that include the site geometry, utilities, grading, and drainage as well as the erosion and sediment control
Perform drainage calculations for slopes, sewer design, hydraulic systems, detention ponds, and more
Analyze surveys and field notes among other materials
Complete redlines and revisions as soon as they are called for
Collaborate with project managers to keep them updated on progress and to work out any challenges that arise
Pitch in with the design staff wherever needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or landscape architecture
High proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Full range of visual depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors
Valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and the ability to occasionally travel overnight
Preferred
Two or more years of CAD civil design experience is strongly preferred
Certification as an EIT is also preferred
