Responsibilities

Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions to Manufacturing Engineering

Develop, assemble, procure or modify existing and new tooling, fixtures and equipment to ensure efficient production methods

Process customer drawing Engineering Change Notices and initiate/process internal CEPA ECOs accordingly

Complete time studies to quantify processing times and identify areas for process improvements

Assist with hands on training of manufacturing employees on new products, tooling equipment and process revisions

Assist in failure analysis. Troubleshooting, rework/repair of nonconforming product to determine root cause

Promote and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities in Manufacturing

Identify and document Visual Assembly Instructions to help standardize Manufacturing processes for future product builds

Create internal Bill of Materials, Labor Plans and Marking Documents according to customer documentation

Perform Document Control duties in maintaining internal CEPA and customer documentation

Interpret customer drawing requirements/criteria and providing direction/clarification to Manufacturing Technicians, Leads and Supervisor
