Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to work on next-generation and new product development projects, directly contributing to the advancement of aviation technology in the Airborne Traffic, Collision Avoidance & Surveillance Avionics space
Work across disciplines, collaborating with cross-functional teams consisting of Systems, Software, Hardware and Test Engineers to design, develop and ensure seamless integration of innovative solutions
Take ownership for systems engineering development at every aspect of the systems life cycle

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
5+ years of Systems Engineering experience
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

Preferred

Proven expertise in systems engineering practices, specifically with aviation systems
Experience in similar product domains is of value i.e. Avionics, Navigation and/or Airborne Surveillance (TCAS, Transponder, ADS-B, DME, UAT), RF products, etc
Master's Degree or advanced professional certification
Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
Experience with the FAA certification process for avionics is of value
Experience working with aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus, Dassault, etc is of value
Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and people
Making autonomous decisions
