Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend and frontend systems with strong testing and observability

Collaborate with UX, product managers, and engineers across domains to define and deliver solutions

Review and improve code for quality, maintainability, and design

Balance implementation complexity, time to market, scalability, and resiliency

Mentor teammates and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Own features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring

Required

Senior proficiency in at least one modern language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, PHP, C#, etc.)

Strong database and SQL skills; experience designing and optimizing schemas

Experience owning features or subsystems from design through release

Preferred

PHP and React experience preferred, and/or willingness to work in PHP and React as part of our primary stack (React, Laravel, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ)

At least 5 years of backend and/or frontend development experience delivering production systems preferred

Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) preferred

Public GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket profile is a plus
