The role involves managing fund accounting, supporting financial reporting, and overseeing fund operations while working closely with the CFO and Controller.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day fund accounting, general ledger entries, and NAV calculations

Prepare and review capital call and distribution notices

Assist in calculating management fees, carried interest, and other fund-level economics

Preparation/Review of tax schedules, partnership returns and K-1s, coordinating with external tax advisors

Support quarterly and annual financial reporting in coordination with auditors and tax advisors

Oversee fund operations, including cash reconciliations, wire processing, and internal controls

Support investor communications, reporting, and onboarding while maintaining CRM and portals

Coordinate cross-functionally on deal closings to ensure accurate documentation and operational readiness

5–12 years of fund accounting experience, with a strong preference for Private Equity fund accounting

Management or mentorship experience required

Experience with tax matters; not focused on compliance or return preparation, but on reviewing K-1s, preparing tax workpapers, and understanding tax implications on financial statements
