Narofsky Architecture and Design are architects and interior designers known for their high-quality work and attention to detail. The Intermediate Architectural Designer will guide projects through all phases of design and collaborate with leadership to produce high-quality drawings.

Responsibilities

Guide and execute projects through all phases of design

Actively communicate and collaborate with design and technical leadership

Produce and coordinate high quality drawings in conformance with project time, scope and quality parameters

Effectively document designs through Construction Documents, Construction Administration, and final punch list

Required

7 years minimum experience in high-end residential design and construction

Strong Communication skills

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent

Proficiency in and experience with Revit [priority], AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Suite including Photoshop, In-design and other computer application literacy

Proficiency in residential and commercial construction documents

Familiarity with NYS and NYC Building Codes and Building Practices

Experience with coordination of consultants including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Structural engineers as well as lighting designers and other consultants

Experience with field/construction administration

Multi-tasking/time management skills: the ability to work on several projects at the same time in either a management or production role

Oral and written command of the English Language
