CEC Companies is seeking a Business Development Analyst to support the sales and business development team in pursuing and winning new work. This role involves turning data into analyses and presentations that support the company's sales strategy, while also managing market intelligence and opportunity data.

Responsibilities

Build proposal content by coordinating technical specifications, pricing, project history, and client research across BD, estimating, and marketing teams

Compile project data and market information to support pursuit decisions

Review project performance data and market trends to inform business decisions

Create executive-level presentations for client pitches, board meetings, and leadership reviews

Track pipeline metrics, win/loss trends, and conversion rates to identify patterns and improve win rates

Manage and update Salesforce

Manage RFP responses and prequalification packages from intake through submission

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform pursuit strategy

Coordinate cross-functional teams to move opportunities through the pipeline efficiently

Support the CRO with special projects and initiatives as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required

Previous experience in business development, operations, or similarly related analytical role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create polished, executive-ready materials

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Preferred

Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries preferred but not required
