Responsibilities
Communicate the company’s vision and align regional business goals with corporate objectives
Lead business unit operations to achieve financial, safety, and quality benchmarks
Provide guidance to Business Unit Leaders and operations teams to meet performance goals
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute organizational goals
Ensure all operational activities support long-term company growth and profitability
Oversee business unit financial structures, ensuring sound funding for company goals
Review and analyze financial statements, cost reports, and performance metrics
Conduct and/or review cost analysis for materials, labor, and overhead
Estimate the cost of new and proposed projects and services
Approve cost-control reports, staffing requirements, and project budgets
Lead a team of managers and field staff in delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient operations
Promote open communication and collaboration among divisions to foster unity
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Monitor industry trends and recommend strategic improvements
Identify training needs and ensure the delivery of development programs
Recruit, train, and retain top talent within business units
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Present regular performance reports and operational metrics to the executive team
Support companywide initiatives and contribute to national operational strategies
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current residency in Western United States (CA, OR, WA, NV, ID, AZ or NM)
Commercial Roofing Operations Experience
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
Proven experience managing multi-location operations and diverse teams
Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and financial reports
Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Intermediate computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to manage complex projects, set measurable goals, and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
Eight (8) years of commercial roofing operations experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Experience with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and construction operations management systems
