Responsibilities
The Director is accountable for managing the firm’s financial depository client relationships
Serve as a trusted advisor and relationship manager for financial depository clients
Ensure a smooth onboarding process and deliver exceptional ongoing service to consistently meet client needs
Consult with clients on balance sheet strategies tailored to their risk appetite
Collaborate with internal specialized groups to deliver integrated solutions
Conduct annual client visits and maintain ongoing engagement
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in a depository-focused role
Client-facing experience
Broad knowledge of the banking business model with demonstrated experience creating value through a strategic vision
Undergraduate degree
Deep understanding of the full banking model, including credit risk, liquidity risk, and interest rate risk
Design and implement capital allocation strategies aligned with client objectives and risk appetite
Knowledge of hedging applications for financial institutions, including risk mitigation and spread enhancement, with the ability to partner effectively with specialized teams
Comprehensive understanding of banking regulations and ability to incorporate compliance considerations into strategic recommendations
Ability to distill complex market data into actionable insights that drive balance sheet optimization and strategic value creation for financial institutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences (boards, ALCOs, conferences)
Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for client understanding
Maintain and expand market knowledge to educate clients on economic and market changes
Thought leadership demonstrated through industry speaking engagements and content creation
Serve as a trusted advisor and relationship manager for financial depository clients
Ensure a smooth onboarding process and deliver exceptional ongoing service to consistently meet client needs
Consult with clients on balance sheet strategies tailored to their risk appetite
