Responsibilities

Day to day supervision of test performance and testing personnel tasks
Assure that all the right actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratories established performance specifications
Coordinates staffing needs, training, evaluation, and competency of employees
Maintain optimal cost effectiveness and delivery of testing with accuracy, validity, and reliability
Perform patient testing when necessary to complete laboratory work
Evaluate new instruments, methods, and procedures to keep the laboratory updated
Ensure that all Quality Control measures are conducted and reviewed on a regular schedule. Preparation of SOP, validation of New Test
Monitor daily QC to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Ph.D. degree from an accredited college or university
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
