The Community Program Assistant position is designed to assist in administrative and technical work in support of the State Opioid Response College Adopt-A-School initiative, focusing on planning, implementation, and data management to prevent opioid misuse and abuse.

Responsibilities

Attend state required meetings and webinars

Assist in implementation of Strategic Prevention Framework model for opioid misuse and abuse to include a needs assessment, capacity building, planning, implementation of selected strategies, and evaluation of programs

Assist in preparing state required reports monthly

Data entry into state database of monthly activities

Attend meetings with community partners

Attending staff training and program meetings

Participating in project planning and development of interventions while ensuring adherence to accepted scientific research principals and community engaged approaches

Perform all other job-related duties as assigned
