Responsibilities
Experience in water and wastewater infrastructure planning, design, permitting, inspection and construction administration including pump stations, distribution, collection and conveyance, storage tanks, and treatment
Experience coordinating water and wastewater infrastructure design with other design disciplines (e.g. traffic, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical/electrical, and survey) also preferred
Project management experience a plus
Strong leadership skills. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Be a self-motivated individual, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Strong ability to plan and manage preparation of construction drawings and specifications
Qualification
Required
Experience in water and wastewater infrastructure planning, design, permitting, inspection and construction administration including pump stations, distribution, collection and conveyance, storage tanks, and treatment
Strong leadership skills. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Be a self-motivated individual, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Strong ability to plan and manage preparation of construction drawings and specifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required; working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred
Professional Engineer Certification
Preferred
Experience coordinating water and wastewater infrastructure design with other design disciplines (e.g. traffic, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical/electrical, and survey) also preferred
Project management experience a plus
Experience with MS Project, Microstation, Revit, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, and/or SewerGEMS is a plus
NASSCO certifications
Experience working on cross-functional teams to support infrastructure / utility projects, especially with wet utilities
Experience working on design and permitting activities
Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision while displaying a positive attitude
Strong leadership skills; project management experience is preferred
Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
