Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and execute new business opportunities within the bakery and baked-goods category
Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective customers and strategic partners
Lead end-to-end business development efforts, including prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and contract execution
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Culinary, Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Develop pricing strategies, volume forecasts, and growth plans aligned with company objectives
Provide strategic leadership and mentorship across commercial initiatives
Contribute to long-term growth strategy and portfolio expansion
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Proven experience in business development or commercial strategy
Willingness to travel approximately 30–50%
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Strong background in bakery, frozen bakery, or baked-goods commercialization highly preferred
Existing relationships within retail, foodservice, or CPG bakery channels strongly preferred
