Responsibilities
Bring a strong technology background, leveraging deep technical expertise to guide teams and projects
Oversee multiple scrum teams, ensuring both individual performance and collective team goals are achieved, all while aligning efforts with the overall objectives of the product line
Foster the professional and personal growth of team members, empowering engineers to thrive and making their experience at athenahealth truly rewarding
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of product architecture, proactively manage dependencies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality releases through close collaboration with product management and other engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
More than 10 years of experience leading teams within a product-focused company, demonstrating expertise in modern object-oriented programming languages such as Java and .Net, cloud architectures including AWS and Azure, relational databases, and a variety of technologies such as modern JavaScript frameworks
Proven ability to lead, nurture and professionally develop employees, maximize individual potential, and leverage a strong understanding of team dynamics to create opportunities for growth and learning
Demonstrated success in delivering outstanding results by effectively balancing priorities, ensuring timely delivery, and excelling in leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
