Investment Analyst, Energy Transition
Captona is a North America-focused investment company dedicated to Decarbonization and the Energy Transition. They are seeking an Investment Analyst to build and maintain complex financial models, perform due diligence on investment opportunities, and prepare investment memoranda for stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain complex financial models to analyze and perform sensitivities on potential investments
Perform due diligence on investment opportunities, including review of technical reports and financial documentation
Review transaction documents (MIPAs, LLCAs, Credit Agreements, etc.) throughout the execution process
Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor operating assets and provide performance reporting to management and investors
Qualification
Required
1–3+ years of experience in financial analysis, project finance, or investment banking, ideally within the energy transition sector
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
Strong aptitude for building and analyzing complex financial models
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel for processing large datasets, identifying trends, and conducting risk assessments
Familiarity with renewable energy policies, incentives, and market dynamics (e.g., ITC, PTC, IRA provisions)

Experience with tax equity, capital accounts, and project finance lending structures
