T&T Supermarket is Canada’s favorite Asian grocery store, now opening its first U.S. location in Bellevue, Washington. The Produce Cooler Keeper will manage the produce storage area, ensure product quality and cleanliness, and provide excellent customer service.

Retail

Responsibilities

Manage the receiving of products, conduct quality inspection and placing products to the store
Maintain inventory and product quality; follow FIFO concept; and ensure proper display of various products
Sort, pack, and label various produce products and put them in the storage & promotion coolers
Maintain storage area cleanliness, wash and maintain relevant work tools are clean and well-kept
Keep warehouse, display and walk-in coolers clean and tidy
Follow procedures to process produce inventory control reports
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior

Required

Complete secondary education and above
Be prepared to stand long time and to hands on dealing with products and lifting of products of 40 pounds on a regular basis
Be prepared to work in low temperature (0-4 ℃) environment regularly
Knowledge of basic work safety
Not allergic in handling produce products
Friendly and have a passion to serve our customers
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays

Preferred

Relevant experience in handling produce products is preferred
Able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) an asset
