T & T Supermarket is Canada's favorite Asian grocery store, expanding into the United States with a flagship store in Bellevue, Washington. The Grocery Supervisor will oversee daily operations, support team members, and ensure high standards of customer service and product quality.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality control during receiving, manage inventory and product quality of all products (grocery, cooler & frozen goods), implement FIFO concept, maintain full product display

Execute procedures for handling expired products and effectively manage shrinkage to minimize loss

Deliver exceptional customer service with a welcoming smile, greeting and assisting customers enthusiastically, friendly, and courteously

Assist customers in product selection and offer recommendations as required to enhance their shopping experience

Address customer complaints promptly, fostering positive relationships through attentive service and genuine engagement

Provide guidance and supervision to junior team members, provide feedback on staff performance, assist in staff training and development within the department

Lead by example, demonstrating proficiency in all assigned duties and setting a standard for excellence

Maintain workplace cleanliness and upkeep of work tools to ensure a hygienic and organized environment

Familiar oneself with the location of various grocery items and stay informed about departmental promotions to better assist customers

Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the department
