Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the NJ Water Wastewater department, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Partner and collaborate with W/WW Regional Managers in PA, MD, NC and other States where we currently conduct work
Oversee all NJ Water Wastewater projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards including coordination with other NJ regional offices and disciplines
Serve as the primary technical authority for Water Wastewater systems in NJ, offering guidance and expertise to ensure optimal design and functionality
Manage NJ departmental resources effectively, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling, to meet project demands and organizational goals
Implement and enforce stringent quality control processes to ensure all NJ Water Wastewater work meets or exceeds industry standards, RVE established standards and NJ regulatory requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with NJ clients, understand their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with Water Wastewater solutions
Mentor and develop Water Wastewater team members, promoting professional growth and ensuring the team remains current with industry advancements
Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the Water Wastewater department
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Water Wastewater design, engineering, and project management
At least 5 years in a leadership role
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field)
PE License Required
Valid Driver's License
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proven experience in pursuing leads and obtaining new work and clients
Deep understanding of water/wastewater NJ codes, standards, and regulations
Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex engineering programs
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
Strong presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to analyze financial reports and set business objectives
Preferred
Matrix management and remote staff management skills a plus
