Lean Management Engineer

Responsibilities
Supports the organization?s labor management processes by developing work measurement standards and workforce assessments, identifying labor improvement opportunities, and partnering with stakeholders on tactics to meet productivity goals
Facilitates multiple continuous improvement efforts and applies a variety of improvement methodologies (including lean, and six sigma) and group management techniques to support individuals and teams through process improvement initiatives
Works collaboratively with leadership to increase efficiencies, decrease costs, reduce variability, reduce errors/defects, and involve all appropriate personnel
Supports existing balanced scorecard program and assists in the development of performance measures, target methodologies and thresholds, and ensures accuracy of measure results
Provides needed continuous improvement training and education and works closely with other Lean team members to meet education needs at all levels throughout the health system
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor?s Degree Industrial Engineering or related field such as Management Engineering or Operations Research
2 years of related work experience
Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
