Responsibilities
Assesses cardiac catheterization lab activities for quality, reviewing reports for internal committees and external compliance with regulatory agencies to support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases
Participates in implementing and monitoring performance of the clinical staff, new employees, and preceptor?s competency
Develop programs and oversight to peers to ensure strong clinical performance standards are met
Ensures that the cardiac catheterization lab meets all compliance and regulatory requirements from internal and external agencies such as The Joint Commission
Analyzes requirements for capital equipment and assists in the preparation of justifications and recommendations
Fosters collaboration across departments, establishing strong clinical connections and physician-hospital relationships that enhance the overall patient experience and organizational effectiveness
Ensures consistent compliance with regulatory standards to safeguard patient well-being and maintain institutional integrity
Takes Supervisor call
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in nursing or Allied Health Profession
3 years of Cath Lab experience
RCIS or RCES
