DataMasters is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join their IT team in a direct-hire capacity. This role will focus on executing an analytics roadmap by building a centralized reporting and forecasting platform using AWS technologies to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data models aligned with business needs
Develop and support automated data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading
Work with AWS S3 as the data lake layer , transforming data downstream using Redshift and QuickSight
Implement data quality checks and testing to ensure accuracy and reliability
Support and enhance reporting and forecasting solutions for business users
Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, developers, and business process owners
Document data models, pipelines, and transformations for long-term usability
Identify and resolve data-related issues efficiently and effectively
Execute against an established roadmap, delivering high-quality work on time

Required

Strong AWS experience required, including S3, Redshift, and QuickSight
Advanced SQL skills
Experience with data modeling (relational and dimensional)
Hands-on experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes
Programming experience in Python or similar languages
Strong understanding of data quality best practices
Experience working with BI tools and analytics platforms
Ability to deliver high-quality work quickly and efficiently
Strong communication skills and ability to partner with business stakeholders
Team-oriented mindset with solid project management skills
