Responsibilities

Assisting the Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of the following layers:-

Outside Plant & Fibre

Inside Plant & Racks, Cabling, etc

DWDM

SDH

DCN

Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling)

Utilising bespoke inventory systems

Individuals who have a methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation

Chance to travel

Individuals with enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to learn and take on responsibility

Gain industry experience with a view to potentially securing a long term role

Qualification

Telecommunication principlesIP principlesNetworks experienceAdvanced ExcelAccess SkillsAC/DC Power experiencePractical experience with telecommunication equipmentConversant with Microsoft OfficeCommunication skills

Required

Knowledge of telecommunication principles

Conversant with Microsoft Office

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject

Preferred

IP principles and Networks experience desirable

Advanced Excel or Access Skills

AC/DC Power experience desirable

Practical/hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc)
