Responsibilities

Assisting the Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of the following layers:- Outside Plant & Fibre - Inside Plant & Racks, Cabling, etc - DWDM - SDH - IP - DCN - Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling)
Utilising bespoke inventory systems
Methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation
Chance to travel

Qualification

Telecommunication principlesIP principlesNetworksEngineering degreeMScAdvanced ExcelAccessAC/DC Power experienceMicrosoft OfficePractical telecommunication equipmentCommunication skills

Required

Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject
Knowledge of telecommunication principles
Conversant with Microsoft Office
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Practical/hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc)

Preferred

IP principles and Networks experience desirable
Advanced Excel or Access Skills
AC/DC Power experience desirable
