Responsibilities

Assisting the Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of the following layers:- Outside Plant & Fibre
Inside Plant & Racks, Cabling, etc
DWDM
SDH
IP
DCN
Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling)
Utilising bespoke inventory systems
Methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation

Qualification

Engineering DegreeTelecommunication PrinciplesIP PrinciplesAdvanced ExcelTelecommunication Equipment ExperienceMicrosoft OfficeAC/DC Power ExperienceCommunication Skills

Required

Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject
Knowledge of telecommunication principles
Conversant with Microsoft Office
Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred

IP principles and Networks experience desirable
Advanced Excel or Access Skills
AC/DC Power experience desirable
Practical/hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc)
