They are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Architect/Consultant to analyze environments, lead modernization assessments, and develop migration strategies for Oracle databases.

Responsibilities
Act as a senior Oracle consultant to analyze and assess environments across versions 8i/9i/10g/11g to 19c
Lead large-scale estate assessment (~7,000 servers) for modernization and upgrade roadmaps
Design pre-migration strategy, risk identification, and remediation recommendations
Evaluate compatibility, capacity, performance, and security readiness for Oracle 19c transition
Develop architecture documentation, migration blueprint, and future-state design
Utilize RMAN, Data Guard, and GoldenGate for replication, backup, and recovery strategy planning
Build and run automation/remote assessment scripts for scale and efficiency
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on planning and execution milestone timelines
Present findings, create assessment reports, and guide decision-making at leadership level
Qualification
Required
