Responsibilities
Provides operational and technical support for assigned data center computer systems and associated peripheral equipment
Monitors performance of on-line systems utilizing software support tools to complete all scheduled jobs in a timely manner
Performs standard maintenance and repair
Interfaces with clients and appropriate support groups to escalate issues for resolution
Reassigns job priorities according to precedent policy and procedures
Participates in on-call rotation responds to alerts and systems issues
Updates systems and applications
Partners with vendors and component suppliers to replace or repair failed equipment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
May require technical certification or Associate Degree
Generally 1-2 years' experience in area of responsibility
