Responsibilities

Performs a variety of technical analyses, verifies results and assures quality and accuracy of tests under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor(s), Laboratory Manager(s), Laboratory Administrative Director, and Laboratory Medical Director (Pathologist)

Qualification

Clinical Laboratory Scientist licenseBachelor's degree in scienceMedical terminology knowledgeLaboratory experienceTyping skillsMath skillsComputer skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science from an accredited institution
Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
Ability to demonstrate a familiarity and understanding of medical terminology, typing, math and computer skills
Requires one (1) year of training post baccalaureate

Preferred

Two (2) years working in a laboratory setting
Co-op or internship experience in a laboratory setting or prior acute care experience
Degree majoring in Clinical Lab Science
