The Assistant Director of CTSE assists with oversight of student transformational and experiential learning opportunities, supporting the Executive Director in developing relationships across campus and in the community to enhance undergraduate research and global learning.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the daily undergraduate research operations, including overseeing undergraduate research proposal applications, orientation, communications with students and faculty researchers/mentors on all approval in SmartSheet

Oversee and manage undergraduate research data in SmartSheet

Coordinate with Honors Program on the activities of student-mentors and bi-weekly approvals for pay

Promote globalization of faculty teaching/research and general education courses including support of faculty curriculum internationalization, international internship, fellowships (ex: Fulbright) and support abroad/study away with the Office of International Education

Assist in developing materials and reports, including presentations

Assist with writing external funding proposals to enhance sustainability

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships between all programs that support undergraduate research, international education, and honors program

Assist in any other related activities as assigned
