Responsibilities
Establishing a reliable, scalable AWS-based data architecture that supports VeVe’s product, operational, and analytics needs as the business grows
Delivering dependable data pipelines and ETL processes powered by Python scripting, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and production ready
Building and owning trusted, analytics ready data models using dbt that serve as the foundation for reporting and decision making
Improving data quality and trust by embedding validation, testing, and robust error handling across core datasets
Enabling faster, more confident business decisions by producing consistent, well defined datasets for analytics and reporting
Turning business and technical requirements into scalable data solutions that reduce manual work and operational friction
Qualification
Required
Proven experience designing and delivering AWS-based data solutions
Strong hands-on background in data architecture and system design
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
Confidence working with tools such as dbt, Redshift, Hevo, Dagster, and Metabase
Strong Python skills for data pipelines, orchestration, and automation
Experience working with and extracting value from legacy data sources
The ability to work remotely and autonomously and prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment
Comfort collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
