Business Development Manager (Retail) – Pasta, Oil, & Italian Products

They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across their pasta and Italian products portfolio, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within pasta and Italian food categories
Manage a robust pipeline of prospective customers and strategic partners
Drive revenue growth through new account acquisition and account expansion
Lead pricing discussions, negotiations, and contract execution
Conduct customer presentations and portfolio reviews
Collaborate with R&D, Culinary, Operations, and Marketing teams to deliver customer-driven solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Proven experience in business development or sales within pasta, Italian foods, or specialty food categories
Strong understanding of retail and/or foodservice channels
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel approximately 30–50%
Preferred
MBA or equivalent experience preferred
Established industry relationships strongly preferred
