Responsibilities

Maintain and organize Quality Assurance documentation, including SOPs, HACCP plans, GMP records, and food safety logs
Support internal, customer, and third-party audits (e.g., SQF, BRC, FDA, USDA) by preparing documentation and tracking follow-up actions
Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and ensure timely completion and closure
Prepare and distribute regular QA status reports to QA leadership, including CAPAs, audit findings, documentation updates, and supplier documentation status
Maintain QA trackers, logs, and dashboards to support visibility into quality and compliance initiatives
Manage document control, including version updates, approvals, and record retention
Assist with product specifications, ingredient statements, allergen documentation, and labeling support
Collect, verify, and maintain supplier quality documentation (COAs, certifications, specifications)
Coordinate with Operations, R&D, Procurement, and Logistics to support quality and food safety requirements
Support QA training documentation and tracking
Identify documentation gaps or compliance risks and escalate to QA leadership
Perform other QA administrative duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of administrative or coordination experience, preferably in food manufacturing, quality, or a regulated environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to handle confidential and compliance-related information

Preferred

Experience supporting food safety or quality systems (HACCP, SQF, BRC, GMPs)
Familiarity with document control systems or QA software
