Administrative Intern
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is offering a summer internship program for college students at the Department of Transportation. Responsibilities
Collaborating on the assessment and rewriting of the Highway Foreman's Manual to align with new technology platforms
Updating various administrative forms utilized by the Division to streamline operations
Developing and revitalizing training materials, including academy courses and specialized training sessions
Creating training materials using formats such as PowerPoint presentations, videos, and infographics
Producing specific content for training packages, including capturing photographs and videos during field operations related to maintenance activities
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled or intending to enroll full-time or part-time in a two-year degree, bachelor's degree, or advanced degree program
Acceptable major of Business Administration/Management, Education/Instructional Design, Communications or a closely related major
Must be a Pennsylvania resident or currently enrolled at a Pennsylvania college or university
In good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher)
Must be at least 18 years of age
You must be able to perform essential job functions
