Responsibilities

Play a leading role in supporting NAVWAR’s Systems of Systems engineering competency and Technical/Certification Authority

Ensure that capabilities delivered to the Fleet are technically sound, resilient, interoperable, and compliant with DoD and DON policy, requirements, architectures, and standards

Shape digital engineering strategies and directly support high-level decision-making

Apply MBSE to system/SoS requirements, architecture, design, verification, and validation activities

Manage digital engineering initiatives and deliverables across multi-disciplinary teams

Implement and sustain a model-based culture within DoD or Navy programs

Develop and refine system engineering processes, requirements frameworks, and technical documentation

Produce and present high-visibility reports, briefs, and executive summaries for senior Navy and DoD stakeholders

Required

8+ years of experience in relevant field

Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance

Proven experience applying MBSE to system/SoS requirements, architecture, design, verification, and validation activities

Ability to manage digital engineering initiatives and deliverables across multi-disciplinary teams

Experience implementing and sustaining a model-based culture within DoD or Navy programs

Knowledge of enterprise standards, governance frameworks, and lifecycle management for NAVWAR or similar DoD programs

Familiarity with submarine communications, military communications systems, or Naval Warfare platforms

Experience developing and refining system engineering processes, requirements frameworks, and technical documentation

Ability to produce and present high-visibility reports, briefs, and executive summaries for senior Navy and DoD stakeholders

Strong knowledge of SysML/UML and MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or similar modeling environments

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field
