Responsibilities

Support the execution of the strategic data roadmap under guidance from Data Stewards and Delegates
Assist in profiling, cleansing, and validating master data across domains
Collaborate with business and technical teams to document data definitions, standards, and lineage
Participate in data quality audits and help resolve issues related to accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Contribute to the development of metadata repositories and stewardship dashboards
Engage in cross-functional meetings and working sessions to understand enterprise data needs

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
2.8 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale
0-5 years of relevant experience
Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA

Preferred

Experience with data governance tools or frameworks
Understanding of data lifecycle management and access controls
Ability to work independently and in team settings
Knowledge of the energy, oil & gas industry, power generation industry, turbomachinery market, and carbon reduction technologies
Takes initiative, has a high energy level, and acts with a sense of urgency
Strong verbal and written presentation abilities to communicate complex strategic topics effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a good basic financial acumen
Intellectual curiosity, global mindset, and passion for continual learning
Highly organized and able to manage a variety of tasks and multiple projects
