The PBF Post Processing Technician II will operate various post-processing machinery, inspect parts for quality, and collaborate with engineering to develop new operations while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

Operate Depowdering Machinery, Wire EDM’s, and Vacuum Heat-Treating Furnaces

Deburr, Remove Supports, and Surface Prep PBF Printed Hardware

Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, defects, surface quality, and perform necessary rework

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of work performed

Collaborate with Engineering and Team to develop and implement new post processing operations

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines ensuring a safe work environment

Required

High School Diploma or GED

2+ Years Experience in PBF Post-Processing or other Additive Manufacturing technologies

Proficient in operating post-processing equipment such as Depowdering Machinery, Wire EDM's, Vacuum Heat-Treating Furnaces, and a solid understanding in various post-processing techniques

Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality parts. Experienced in inspecting PBF Parts for defections and dimensional accuracy

Ability to interpret technical documents and maintain accurate records

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues related to post-processing
