They are seeking a Legal Intern to support their General Counsel and Legal function in various areas including Commercial Contracts, Corporate Governance, and Compliance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the legal and business teams in assisting with and drafting commercial agreements, supply chain agreements, vendor agreements, marketing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements
Actively participate in legal meetings and trainings
Develop and assist with the implementation of new legal operations processes designed to improve efficiency and risk management
Assist with the creation of training resources and legal templates
Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed, including taking notes during meetings and workshops, preparing correspondence, organizing legal files and other organizational tasks

Qualification

Juris Doctor programLegal research proficiencyMicrosoft Office proficiencyCommunication skillsCoachableOrganizational skills

Required

Enrolled in an accredited US Juris Doctor (JD) program
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams; Legal research proficiency
Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable

Preferred

Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations
No substantive legal experience is required; some familiarity with contract law concepts from a course or law school clinic is preferred
