InternLoureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join their Building & Land Engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience in civil site design and development, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects.
Environmental Engineering
Responsibilities
Assist in civil engineering design tasks such as site layout, grading, drainage, and utility planning
Support preparation of plans, drawings, and permit applications
Use AutoCAD, HydroCAD, and other software to support engineering design and analysis
Conduct site visits and field investigations under the supervision of a licensed engineer
Collaborate with survey crews to collect and document field data
Contribute to construction oversight and reporting tasks
Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Junior, senior, or graduate-level student pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles
Familiarity with AutoCAD, HydroCAD, MicroStation, or similar design software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Prior internship or relevant experience is a plus
