Responsibilities
Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process
Conduct detailed audits of financial statements for Not-For-Profit organizations and other clients, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions
Prepare and review working papers and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their questions and concerns while maintaining strong professional relationships
Stay current with auditing standards and best practices, ensuring the audit team is informed of any changes that may impact engagements
Qualification
Required
5+ Years of Public Accounting Tax Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or equivalent professional certification is required
Strong understanding of audit and assurance methodologies, standards, and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in auditing, with a focus on Not-For-Profit organizations preferred
