Maintenance Repairman 2 (Governor's Residence)
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 to join their maintenance team at the Governor's Residence. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and groundskeeping functions to ensure smooth operations during events and maintaining the historic residence's appearance and functionality.

Responsibilities
Perform a wide variety of maintenance and grounds keeping functions to help maintain the Pennsylvania Governor’s Residence inside and out and to ensure smooth operations during events
Work individually, as a lead worker, or in a group to complete groundskeeping duties, minor plumbing and electric work, carpentry and painting projects, and the repair and maintenance of small engines or other equipment
Support construction and renovation projects, practical security matters such as placing and removing traffic barricades and security equipment, and responding to emergency calls in the event of adverse weather conditions or emergencies
Perform periodic maintenance on everyday fixtures and household appliances, as well as in moving and appropriately storing furnishings and historical objects in preparation for events
Provide effective customer service during public and private events to ensure that all aspects of service meet the highest standards of guest experience
Help keep the Residence immaculately maintained and make a positive impression through quality craftsmanship and timely teamwork
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
You must be able to perform essential job functions
Preferred
Experience with facilities operations and customer service
