Sky Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Engineer L2 to support a large-scale desk and monitor installation project. The role involves the physical setup, removal, and configuration of end-user desk equipment to ensure seamless deployment with minimal disruption to business operations.

Responsibilities

Install and configure dual monitor setups (2 monitors per desk) for approximately 300+ desks
Set up one docking monitor with built-in webcam on the left and connect a secondary monitor on the right
Remove existing docks and ensure proper cable management
For desks with wireless keyboards/mice, relocate wireless adaptors into the new docking monitors to maintain functionality
Relocate and set up equipment from 23 desks to another floor (specific floor to be confirmed)
Perform all installation and setup outside of office hours (evenings and weekends)
Verify all devices are connected, powered, and functioning correctly post-installation
Maintain detailed records of completed installations and equipment moved
Follow company procedures for asset tagging and inventory updates
Ensure work is completed within project timelines and quality standards

Required

3+ years of experience in IT desktop support, hardware installation, or deployment projects
Strong understanding of desktop, monitor, and docking station configurations
Familiar with Windows OS and general end-user computing environments
Experience performing IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities
Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and cable management best practices
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight timelines
Ability to work independently or as part of a coordinated team
Good communication and documentation skills
Must be available for after-hours and weekend shifts

Preferred

Previous experience supporting large corporate office moves or mass hardware deployment
Experience with ServiceNow or other IT ticketing/asset management systems
Basic understanding of network connectivity and peripheral device setup
