Responsibilities
Conducting regular preventative maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations
Executing both minor and major repairs on the fleet of service trucks
Diagnosing mechanical issues and planning efficient repairs
Maintaining a clean workspace and moving vehicles safely between areas
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Clean driving record with a valid driver's license required
Must own your own tools required for the trade
Operate equipment used in the repair or servicing of vehicles and equipment
Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50-75 lbs (often heavier with assistance) and manipulate large truck components and tools
Continuous standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling in and around commercial vehicles
Ability to work in cramped or awkward positions for extended periods to reach engine or chassis parts
Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for using precision tools and working with small components
Primarily in a repair shop with exposure to loud noises (engine, air tools) and temperature extremes
Frequent exposure to grease, oil, dirt, fuels, fumes, and chemicals, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols
Regular use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection required
Work well with a team
Communicate clearly and effectively
