Account Manager, Territory Sales

Campbell Oil Company is seeking an accomplished sales professional to join their organization as a Territory Sales Manager for their Short Truck Fuel, Lubricants, and Propane Division. The role is responsible for new business development, account management, and revenue growth within an assigned regional territory.

Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and acquire new customer accounts through systematic outbound sales activities
Execute a minimum of 50 cold calls per week to generate qualified leads
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with consistent weekly activity reporting
Present comprehensive product offerings including fuel, lubricants, propane, and related services
Conduct quarterly business reviews with existing customers to assess performance, identify opportunities, and ensure satisfaction
Maintain a minimum of two customer touchpoints per week with existing accounts
Prepare customer evaluation documentation for internal review boards
Coordinate with Bulk Plant Managers and operational teams to resolve service issues and optimize customer experience
Achieve monthly and annual gross profit targets and sales objectives
Provide detailed weekly activity reports to the Sales Manager
Participate in monthly scorecard reviews at corporate headquarters
Engage in weekly one-on-one meetings with Senior Director for performance tracking and strategic planning
Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events
Participate in required safety training and professional development seminars
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism in all customer and internal interactions

Required

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of industry-related experience, OR
3+ years of documented success in professional sales
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business software applications
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
