The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an Executive Director for the Washington County Housing Authority to lead efforts in advancing safe, affordable, and sustainable housing opportunities. This role involves strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure compliance with regulations while implementing various housing programs.

Responsibilities

Overseeing operations of Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8), Capital Fund Program, Procurement, and other affordable housing initiatives

Developing long-term strategic plans that align with PHA's missions and goals

Providing visionary leadership, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and service

Managing budgets, ensuring financial integrity through audits, and pursuing funding opportunities for development initiatives

Serving as the point of contact for the agency

Developing local procedures, rules, and regulations

Identifying and coordinating renovations

Preparing a variety of reports

Handling recruitment efforts, conducting training, and completing employee performance reviews

Addressing resident concerns

Working closely with community stakeholders and local government to provide housing opportunities for eligible residents

Required

Three years of professional administrative supervisory experience in a housing authority or other publicly or privately owned government subsidized housing and a bachelor's degree; or

Four years of professional administrative experience in residential property management, which included two years of supervisory experience, and a bachelor's degree; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training which included three years of professional administrative supervisory experience in subsidized housing or four years of professional administrative experience in residential property management, which included two years of supervisory experience

You must meet the PA residency requirement
