NEOGOV is seeking a County Casework Supervisor for the Wayne County Human Services, Children and Youth Agency. The role involves managing intake services and supervising caseworkers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations while providing training and support to staff.

Responsibilities

Providing a complete range of intake management and social services to children, youth, and families

Supervising caseworkers in the Intake Unit and completing performance evaluations

Monitoring unit staff to ensure services are provided in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Carrying a direct service caseload in absence of caseworkers

Providing training to new and existing caseworkers

Contributing to the development of the annual plan, collecting data and statistics, analyzing information, and preparing written documentation for review

Required

Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences

You must meet the PA residency requirement

You must be able to perform essential job functions

You must pass a background investigation

A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance
