The Financial Well-being Specialist/Coach is responsible for providing guidance and education on personal finance management, helping clients achieve their financial goals through coaching and workshops.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or group coaching sessions to individuals seeking advice on budgeting, saving, investing, debt management and financial planning

Support the delivery of workshops, webinars, and presentations on financial literacy topics such as budgeting, how credit works, establishing/maintaining credit, debt reduction, financial goal setting, developing savings plans

Work with clients to assess their current financial situation, identify goals, and create personalized financial plans tailored to their needs

Recommend tools, resources, and strategies to help clients improve their financial behaviors, including budgeting software or spreadsheets, savings strategies and debt repayment techniques

Assist clients in setting achievable goals and create tailored action plans and strategies to improve their financial well-being

Offer continuous support through follow-up sessions, ensuring clients stay on track with their financial goals and make necessary adjustments to their plans

Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards when handling clients’ personal financial information

Keep up to date with the latest financial trends, products, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and relevant guidance
